भारत के सचिन देखवाल और उर्वशी ने दुबई में मुक्केबाजी का शानदार जलवा दिखाया

भारत के सचिन देखवाल और उर्वशी ने दुबई में आयोजित काउंट डाउन टु मिडिल ईस्ट क्राउन सीरीज 3 में बॉक्सिंग रिंग में रात के समय जबर्दस्त पंच और शानदार मुक्केबाजी का रोमांचक नजारा पेश किया। महिला मुक्केबाजों ने शनिवार को दुबई के कॉनरॉड होटल में आयोजित चैंपियनशिप में अपने खास स्टाइल में अपने विरोधी मुक्केबाज पर पंचों की बौछार की। भारत की उर्वशी सिंह ने काउंटडाउन टु मिडिल ईस्ट क्राउन सीरीज 3 में वुमन इंटरनेशनल बॉक्सिंग चैंपियनशिप (डब्ल्यूआईबीए) के वर्ल्ड सुपर बेंटमवेट टाइटल पर अपना कब्जा जमाया।
बॉक्सिंग की दुनिया में नया इतिहास लिखने वाली रंगारंग शाम को उर्वशी ने मध्यपूर्व में पहला महिला वर्ल्ड टाइटल मुक्केबाजी का खिताब जीता। इस प्रतियोगिता में चार अन्य महिला मुक्केबाजों ने भी शानदार बॉक्सिंग का जलवा दिखाया। उर्वशी ने बॉक्सिंग के रोमांचक मुकाबले में तन्जानिया की हलीमा वुंजाबेई को हराया। उन्होंने इस मुकाबले में अपने विरोधी मुक्केबाज पर इतने जबर्दस्त मुक्कों का प्रहार किया कि वह बॉक्सिंग रिंग में चोट के कारण अपने मुकाबले को अंजाम तक ले जाने में नाकाम रहीं और रेफरी ने टेक्निकल नॉकआट के आधार पर उर्वशी को विजेता घोषित कर दिया।
डब्ल्यूबीसी एशिया कॉन्टिनेंटल लाइटवेट खिताब के लिए सचिन देखवाल और पाकिस्तान के मोहम्मद बिलाल के बीच भी मुक्केबाजी की रोमांचक प्रतियोगिता हुई, जिसमें सचिन देखवाल ने मोहम्मद बिलाल को 10वें राउंड में रोक दिया। दुबई में बीती रात डीजेएमसी बॉक्सिंग प्रमोशन में डब्ल्यूबीसी एशियाई बॉक्सिंग काउंसिल कॉन्टिनेंटल लाइटवेट खिताब पर कब्जा करने के लिए भारतीय मुक्केबाज सचिन देखवाल को सभी ने बधाई दी।
सचिन ने पाकिस्तान के मोहम्मद बिलाल से मिली जबर्दस्त चुनौती का पुरजोर तरीके से सामना करते हुए विरोधी मुक्केबाज को अपने जबर्दस्त पंच और मुक्कों से धूल चटाई। उन्होंने अपने मुक्कों से पाकिस्तान के मुक्केबाज पर लगातार हमले किए और उन पर अंत तक दबाव बनाए रखा। मुक्केबाजी का यह मुकाबला फाइनल राउंड तक चला। फाइनल राउंड में सचिन देखवाल को टेक्निकल नॉकआउट के आधार पर विजेता घोषित किया गया।
डीजेएमसी बॉक्सिंग के टेक्निकल हेड और मैचमेकर रोशन नाथनिएल ने सचिन देखवाल और उर्वशी सिंह को टॉपलेवल बॉक्सर के रूप में विकसित करने में प्रमुख भूमिका निभाई। यह उन्हीं के प्रशिक्षण और ट्रेनिंग का नतीजा है कि आज सचिन और उर्वशी का नाम भारत के टॉपलेवल बॉक्सरों में शुमार है। उन्होंने कहा, “उर्वशी ने यह साबित कर दिया है कि वह न केवल भारत की नंबर 1 महिला प्रोफेशनल बॉक्सर है, बल्कि एशिया में भी उनका नाम टॉप लेवल के मुक्केबाजों में लिया जाता है। सचिन को हाल ही में महीने का सर्वश्रेष्ठ डब्ल्यूबीसी एशिया बॉक्सर घोषित किया गया। यह उनकी कड़ी मेहनत और मुक्केबाजी के प्रति उनके समर्पण का सबूत है।“
डीजेएमसी इवेंट्स के चेयरमैन डंस्टन पॉल रोजेरियो ने कहा, “हम इस प्रतिष्ठित प्लेटफॉर्म पर भारत के स्थानीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतिभाओं को अपना समर्थन देना चाहते हैं। यह प्लेटफॉर्म किसी भी बैकग्राउंड से संबंधित बॉक्सर को दुबई में आयोजित मुक्केबाजी प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिस्पर्धा का मौका देता है। उन्हें दुनिया भर के दर्शकों, तमाम टीवी नेटवर्क और बिना किसी भेदभाव के इस प्लेटफॉर्म पर अपनी प्रतिभा और हुनर दिखाने का मौका मिलता है।“
यूनाइटेड प्रोफेशनल बाक्सिंग के प्रमोटर अनिर्बान राय ने कहा, “यह न केवल सचिन और उर्वशी के लिए, बल्कि भारतीय पेशेवर मुकेकबाजों ते लिए महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है। यह उसी बात को साबित करता है, जो यूपीबी अब तक कहता रहा है कि भारतीय प्रोफेशनल बॉक्सरों में वर्ल्ड चैंपियन बनने की सारी खूबियां मौजूद है और अगर उन्हें सही दिशा और मार्गदर्शन मिले तो वह अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर शानदार प्रदर्शन कर अपने लिए ऊंचा मुकाम बना सकते हैं।“
